Caprese Salad



  • 1 Tomato on the Vine, washed and sliced in 6 pieces

  • 6 slices fresh mozzarella cheese

  • 6 leaves of Fresh Basil, washed

  • Pinch of Salt and Pepper

  • 1 Tbsp. of Olive Oil

  • 1-2 Tbsp. of Balsamic Glaze (You can make your own but this store-bought version tastes great too)

  1. Arrange the Tomato, Mozzarella, and Basil in alternating pattern on the plate.

  2. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper.

  3. Top with the Olive Oil and Balsamic Glaze and Enjoy!

 

This portion served just one so use adjust the ingredients accordingly if making for more than one. You can’t have too much of the balsamic glaze! Scroll the photos to see the version I made for Christmas this year made into a candy cane. So fresh & tasty!
